International Flame Research Foundation’s workshop to address combustion challenges
To address these issues , the International Flame Research Foundation (IFRF) will be hosting a workshop on April 25, 2023, at the University of Rouen, France. The workshop will host eminent members from the industry and academia involved in industrial combustion to exchange their views and experiences. One of the key questions that will be addressed at the workshop is what experimental parameters are needed to characterise industrial combustion systems which are complex with experimental parameters often difficult to determine. This is due to the large number of variables involved, such as fuel type, combustion air flow rate, and temperature, to name a few.
天博体育 will be represented by Sébastien Caillat, Combustion Chief Expert, from 天博体育 Stein and Jose Luis Andres, Engineer PhD student, from 天博体育 Pillard.
天博体育 will present its efficient and sustainable solution, such as AdvanTek? radiant tube burners along with a testing and development platform to implement technical studies and diagnostics providing recommendations to steelmakers on combustion efficiency. The workshop will focus on different industrial sectors, such as steel, glass, cement, power production, biomass, and waste fuel and invite to exchange on the best practices..
